Textures from the Science Museum

There were all kinds of things at the Science Museum that were abstract in the first place, very abstract when viewed from an unusual angle/distance, and SUPER abstract when shot with a Lensbaby. I love these as textures, for backgrounds or for layering with other shots. We sat in a place with tons of blue light and multi-faceted surfaces. Some kind of tube of something; there was a projection screen behind it (in the background) and I learned that with a sufficient shutter speed, the color channels get split, which makes that great background. These were hanging from the ceiling, creating the perception of a series of veils. Some trees in a diorama:This was some kind of exhibit about materials, and they had them cut and stacked to form a big 3-d thing.I actually have no idea what this was. This was a jacket that appeared to be made from steel wool. Oh GOD, I am in LOVE with the way the Lensbaby works with those specular highlights up close, so it looks like this is exploding...
